Despite the fact that the last generation was presented 2 years ago, the car has gone through a planned restyling and is preparing for the official premiere. Probably the most unusual crossover update was a platform change that no one had done before. According to car enthusiasts, this is more like a change in generation than small improvements.
The company calls the platform itself completely new and refers it to the 3rd generation. Thanks to the platform change, the manufacturer started talking about a significant improvement in the performance of the unit, increasing the handling and safety of the crossover. In addition, in the future, the new Hyundai Santa Fe will be able to be made electric. In all likelihood, the updated Hyundai Santa Fe will be the first crossover in Europe and the world built on this platform.
If we talk about more noticeable changes in the Hyundai Santa Fe in appearance, then the new product is distinguished by a wide radiator grille, which directly depends on the interior of the car. Also, the front of the car is distinguished by new optics and vertical T-shaped LED running lights. The crossover is based on 20 ″ alloy wheels, with a new design. Following the front end, the 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe designers have revisited the stern. In particular, this is new graphics, with highlighted sectors and a thin LED line connecting the lights to each other. The same reflector in the form of an LED line is located across the entire width of the rear bumper. Accordingly, the rear plastic protection has been modified.
The salon of the new Hyundai Santa Fe 2020 has been modified in its own way. The central part of the panel is occupied by a large 10.25 ″ multimedia display, and the instrument panel is now fully digital, based on a 12.3 ″ color display. As it should be for modern cars, the transmission lever has been replaced with a "washer", adding a few additional buttons to control the transmission. Thanks to such improvements, the Terrain Mode system is available to the driver, which allows you to select the mode of movement of the crossover. As for the technical characteristics of the updated Hyundai Santa Fe 2020, they promised to open them closer to the start of sales of new items. In Europe, they are scheduled for September 2020. Most likely, there may be new units under the hood, since the platform will be new.
