During the regional exhibition "Creative youth of Vinnitsa", which started in Vinnitsa on May 25, vocational school №11 presented their creation.

A fully electric Tavria was presented, which was built on the basis of a conventional gasoline modification.

According to the project manager Irina Korolenko, the Tavria car has been on the balance sheet of their educational institution for a long time, and the idea of turning it into an electric car was met with a lot of positive reviews. During the transformation, the gasoline power unit was completely dismantled, and an electric motor was installed in its place, the power of which, unfortunately, is not announced. The car lost the backseat, which was replaced by batteries that power the engine. It is known that the conversion of the car took a little over 10 months, but the result was worth it. From this we can conclude that anyone who wants to get an electric car can build it with their own hands.

Recall that some time ago, the domestic ZAZ presented its new car - Slavuta Nova, which was built in conjunction with the Chinese corporation Chery. The car has a modern and rather attractive appearance, will receive a 1.6-liter petrol engine with a capacity of 125 hp, as well as two gearboxes - a classic "mechanics" and a variator. The company notes that over 50% of the parts will be produced at the domestic ZAZ plant, while the cost of the car will not exceed $ 10,000.
