As it became known, the production of a new generation of Tesla Model S and Model X electric cars will begin in the fall of 2019. The differences between the models can be seen with the naked eye. A different design, improved performance and modern technology. From the front, both models will get a formidable look, with pronounced LED navigation lights in the optics, as well as side C-shaped lines.

Changes to the body design of the Tesla Model S also fell on the side. The designers created undulating lines, and the roof was made practically glass, with the exception of the central part. What will be new in the interior of the electric car, the manufacturer has not yet specified. In all likelihood, it will be a large display of the multimedia system, a modern futuristic design of the seats, as well as a huge list of comfort and safety systems. Tesla Model S and Model X will receive no less changes in terms of technical characteristics. Each configuration will receive three engines. One will be installed on the front axle and two on the rear. In addition to the units, electric cars will receive a new battery with improved cooling. Thanks to the latest developments from Tesla engineers, electric vehicles will receive a new generation of charging systems. The Superchargers V3 charging system will charge the batteries at full capacity (250 kW).

According to reports, the range of Tesla electric cars will also increase. The Model X will receive a reserve of 640 km, as for the Tesla Model S, the information is still silent, but in all likelihood, a couple of dozen more in comparison with the X model (the measurements were made according to the EPA standard cycle). It is worth noting, according to the manufacturer, the Model S and Model X will be assembled on the same line in order to reduce the load, unload the plant and thereby free up the line for assembling the new Model Y. S will appear immediately after the start of production. In Europe, electric cars are promised to be brought closer to the New Year holidays.
