In 2014, the Japanese carmaker Suzuki first demonstrated its new brainchild - a compact city hatchback called the Celerio. According to the manufacturer, the main advantage of the novelty is the spacious interior by the standards of the class, as well as the line of highly efficient engines.
The name of the car from the Italian language translates as "heavenly river", which should emphasize the lightness and dynamism of this small but very ambitious little car, which replaced two models of the company at once - Alto and Splash.
European sales of the car started in early 2015, where the car, despite the great competition, is in good demand to this day. This is facilitated not only by a modern appearance and a good level of equipment, but also by a reasonable price.
But let's not beat around the bush and talk in more detail about this small, but very promising "samurai".

As the basis for the new Suzuki Celerio, the company took the concept model A: Wind, which was demonstrated a year before the official debut of the new product. From the concept version, the car received not only the platform and engines, but also the main elements of the exterior.
In fairness, it should be noted that, in comparison with the concept, the Celerio received a somewhat simplified front end, but this does not prevent it from looking stylish, modern and positive, which will especially appeal to the representatives of the beautiful half of humanity.

Special attention should be paid to the volume of the trunk, which is considerable by the standards of the class of 254 liters. If necessary, the second row seats are easy to fold, which will allow you to get a luggage compartment with a volume of as much as 726 liters, which is almost a record figure for a small city car. In the trunk underground there is a stowaway, as well as a small repair kit.

The 2015 Suzuki Celerio is offered with two 1-liter three-cylinder powertrains. The engines feature direct petrol injection and a maximum output of 68 hp.
