1. Kia Rio 2019
According to the rating, the new Kia Rio became the leader of sales and the most popular car in Moscow. As statistics show, since the beginning of the year, 611 copies this model. Still, if you do not take into account such an indicator of cars, then sales fell by 35%. The buyer has two basic models to choose from, the regular Rio and the Rio X-Line.
Representatives of the company in Moscow do not specify which copies are more popular. The regular Kia Rio is available in 10 trim levels from 764,900 to 1,074,900 rubles... 2. Volkswagen Polo 2018

Dealerships in Moscow can offer two basic configurations for purchase, regular Polo and Polo Connect. The first engine is paired only with a 5 or 6 speed manual transmission, the second engine is available with a 6 speed manual transmission or a 7 speed automatic transmission. As for the price, it all depends on the configuration, the basic version will cost from 654 900 rubles, Trendline from 734 900 rubwhile Comfortline from 789 900 rubles... 3. Hyundai Creta 2018
Closes the top three in the rating of the most popular cars in Moscow, the new Hyundai Cret crossover. According to the manufacturer's data since the beginning of the year sold 461 cars, while the statistics are unsuccessfully negative by 12%. In Russia, you can choose one of 6 complete sets, although this is the minimum list, since there may be more of them depending on the wishes of the buyer and technical modification.

5. Hyundai Solaris 2018
The new Hyundai Solaris closes the top five leaders in the rating of the most popular cars in Moscow. The new sedan looks modern and attractive; the buyer is offered a choice of two engines, 1.4 and 1.6 liters. Both units are equipped with a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission.
If we talk about sales, then since the beginning of 2019, dealerships have managed to implement 370 copies this model. This is far from the desired result, as sales fell 26% compared to the same period last year. For the price, the new Hyundai Solaris will cost from 730,000 rubles, and top grade from 868,000 rubles... As you can see, 4 out of five manufacturers still have a negative indicator in new car sales in Moscow. Nevertheless, they remain the TOP 5 in the ranking of the most popular models as of the beginning of 2019.
6. Toyota Camry 2018
The second five leaders in the rating of the most popular cars in Moscow was headed by Toyota Camry. Most often, this model can be found in the sedan body, but the station wagon option is also possible. According to available information, since the beginning of 2019, there have been sold 339 cars, with a 9% increase in sales. The buyer is offered to choose one of 7 complete sets, completing it at his own request. Depending on the configuration, one of three gasoline engines can be installed under the hood of the Toyota Camry. The most common is a gasoline unit with a volume of 2.0 liters paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The average consumption of such a heart of a car is about 7.1 liters per 100 kilometers. A little less often they install an engine with a volume of 2.5 liters, with the same 6 tbsp. Automatic transmission and an average consumption of 8.3 liters per hundred kilometers. Today, dealerships can simultaneously offer both the old and the new generation.
The old version is offered in 10 different trim levels with petrol and diesel engines. The manufacturer proposes to install a variator or a mechanical transmission in a pair with the units. As for the price of such a Nissan Trail, the basic configuration will cost from 1,365,000 rubles, top model from 1 882 000 rub... New generation Nissan Trail will cost from 1,401,000 rubles... Unlike the previous version, the new product offers one diesel (1.6 liters) and two gasoline units (2.0 and 2.5 liters). For transmission, a manual gearbox or a variator is still available, with full or only front-wheel drive.
8. Volkswagen Tiguan 2018
The eighth position in the ranking of the most popular cars in Moscow for 2019 was given to the new Volkswagen Tiguan. Indeed, the crossover is very famous, as its dimensions are great for city traffic jams and fast parking, while having all the qualities of an SUV. The buyer can choose one of 5 trim levels, from a regular to a charged sports version. Since the beginning of the year, there have been sold 301 cars, which led to a drop in sales of only 1% compared to last year.
The base model will cost from 1,499,000 rubles, and here is the top version of the Sportline from 2,479,000 rubles... Under the hood of a compact crossover, it is proposed to install a gasoline turbocharged engine with a capacity of 125, 150, 180 or 220 hp. In tandem with the engine, a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission is installed, the top versions received a 7-speed automatic transmission with two clutches. According to the type of drive, the basic options come only with the front, but the top versions with the proprietary 4Motion all-wheel drive.
9. Skoda Kodiaq 2018
The ninth place in the ranking was won by the new crossover Skoda Kodiak. Despite the penultimate place in the ranking, this particular model showed the largest increase in sales since the beginning of 2019. According to the manufacturer's dealerships, since the beginning of the year there have been sold 276 cars... Thus, the increase was 194% compared to the same period last year.

10. Stylish Kia Sportage
The stylish crossover Kia Sportage closes the rating of the most popular new cars of 2019 in Moscow. The rating of the most popular cars in Moscow proves once again that crossovers are becoming more and more popular, although sedans and station wagons are no less popular. The minimum demand was for hatchbacks and coupes, sales of such models are rather sporadic and lose in rating. In all likelihood, spring will also make its own adjustments to this rating and new leaders will appear closer to May.
