At first glance, the machine looks nice and harmonious, but the more you delve into the details, the more you realize how absurd some decisions are. For example, the radiator grill. It will be lucky if you have a black version in your possession, and if it is white, then you should prepare for the fact that over time you will begin to notice that something is missing on the face. And there is not enough of the same edging on the sides, which would separate the optics from the grille, and also visually expand the new Emgrand X7.
In profile, this is perhaps even more of a typical Chinese than in front. Perhaps the whole point is in the same muzzle, or maybe in the space form of the stern, we will return to it a little later. You don't need a hawk's eye to trace the resemblance to the Toyota Rav 4. Here are the same wheel arches, the same slopes of the A-pillars, the same shape of the side line of the glass. It is from here, from the side, that the whole essence of the car is clearly visible. There are a lot of plastic pads, puffs and puffs. In fact, this is a car that hardly pulls on a midsize crossover.
The back of the Geely Emgrand X7 is the most bewildering. And you don’t understand what exactly is repulsive: small awkward lights, a huge rear bumper, or the realization that this crossover at the back very much resembles a box that was put on a conveyor belt. Lanterns, by the way, are clearly copied from Subaru. We are not even talking about the huge rear pillars, which will cover a good half of the view back.

The rear sofa is traditionally folded, however, you won't be able to get a flat floor here.
